Course

As in previous years, the various courses of the National Park Gravel Fondo have been tested and approved by Bram Tankink, former professional cyclist and avid gravel enthusiast. Bram lives in the Maasland region and knows the Hoge Kempen National Park like the back of his hand. He has once again mapped out 3 absolute gems of routes for us on his favourite training grounds.

Below, you can see all the gravel sections of the National Park Gravel Fondo and the timed gravel sections:

Depending on the chosen distance, your ride will include the following number of timed gravel sections:

  • 125 km: 10 gravel sections
  • 90 km: 6 gravel sections
  • 55 km: 4 gravel sections

After picking up your race number at the scan & ride desks, you can get a course sticker with a handy overview of all the gravel sections to stick on the top tube of your bike.

The start of each timed gravel section is clearly indicated by a sign and a flag. The end of the gravel section is marked by a sign. At the beginning and end of all timed gravel sections, signalers will ensure the safety of all cyclists and other road users.

The GPX file of your ride will be sent by email a few days before the event.
